The University of Texas at Austin has joined Samsung, AT&T, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Interdigital to launch 6G @ UT, a new research center that wants to lay the groundwork for 6G. The next generation 6G is expected to help energy services such as self-driving cars and air taxis, holographic video conferencing, ubiquitous robotics and captivating augmented reality.
