Tactical RF radio system for the armed forces

The PRC-2090 Tactical HF Radio System is a multifunctional HF communication system that can be deployed as a 30W handheld package, a 125W vehicle-mounted system, or a 125W base station. This may interest you : Elbit Systems introduces portable tactical SATCOM system.

The lightweight transceiver includes an integrated automatic antenna tuner, battery management system integrated into each lithium-ion battery, operation in all modes, automatic connection (ALE) to MIL-STD 188-141B 2G (JITC certified), additional internal MIL waveform modem with stack 5066, encryption and frequency hopping.

The PRC-2090 HF Tactical Manpack transceiver allows the user to deploy full communication capability in a variety of environments. It is designed with a detachable display that can be attached to a strap, allowing use on the go or remotely from the transceiver.

Very high frequency tactical radio system

The PRC-2080 + has multiple levels of encryption and hopping security. Analog voice and digital unencrypted data are mounted as standard. Available with Secure Fixed Digital Encrypted Mode (FF) with Digital Encrypted Free Channel Search (FCS) or Digital Encrypted Frequency Skip (FH) anti-jamming mode. It meets MIL-STD-810G specifications for immersion, vibration, fall and impact assessment.

Rapid Deployment Systems (RFDS)

Barrett RFDS (HF and VHF) is a turnkey communication system in one housing, including radios, various power options, cables, lighting and external connections. It is designed for easy setup and operation in minutes.

The HF version is based on the tactical HF radio system PRC-2090, which provides a range of different transmission modes. It includes optional LE ALE, frequency hopping and encryption plus a Barrett 2023 internal HF modem that, in conjunction with the 2020 data system, allows the transmission of email, fax and data via HF.

The VHF variant is based on the PRC-2080 + Tactical VHF radio system, which has more than 2300 channels. It has 50W output power and a number of options for frequency hopping and encryption.

Barrett 4050 HF SDR transceiver for secure communications

The 4050 High Frequency (HF) Software Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver is the latest product in the Barrett range of high frequency communication equipment.

When the transceiver is combined with various Barrett products, it provides highly secure data transfer, email and telephone connection in the HF network, the international telephone network and the Internet.

The Barrett 4050 is fully compatible with advanced digital selective calling systems. The transceiver provides four- and six-digit selective calling features, such as options for remotely deactivating the transceiver, secure point-to-point and / or multipoint calling, status calling, GPS tracking, SMS text, and telephone connection.

The 4050 comes with a number of waveform options, including the CLOVER 2500 and the upcoming CLOVER NG standard, along with the MIL-STD-188-110A / B (STANAG 4285, 4415, 4481, 4529, 4539). These waveforms provide unmatched performance at “throughput” speeds of up to and above 19,200 bps, combined with Barrett’s latest digital transmission software and intuitive user interface.

Barrett’s GPS interface connects to each NMEA 0183 external GPS receiving antenna for tracking applications and provides location information and emergency call features to all deployed equivalently equipped HF assets.
