Rafael’s BNet Ground Communication SDR for Asian Country – MILMAG

On February 14, the Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems announced that the BNet SDR (Software Defined Radio) ground communication has been selected for installation on Asian army vehicle platforms.

The contract was signed on January 29 after a thorough and intensive bidding process. Various international communication companies completed the tender, at the end of which BNet was selected as the optimal solution for the program. Delivery will begin this year.

BNet Software-Defined Radios (SDR) this family of advanced, tactical broadband IP-MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) provides reliable high-speed, low-latency connectivity for broadband data, voice and video in motion for land and airborne platforms, headquarters and dismounted soldiers. The modular, multi-band, multi-channel, network-centric system enables unprecedented data rates and user numbers, enabling all land, sea and air units to participate in a single, seamless, scalable network.
