Introduction to 6G vision and technology

The book begins with a general vision for 6G technology, which includes the motivation that drives 6G research, international organizations working on 6G standardization, and recent advances in 6G research. It also provides details on millimeter wave and terahertz technology, advanced 6G network layer antenna arrays, such as a self-organizing network driven by network cutting, software-defined network and virtualization of network functions. Finally, it covers some popular research topics, including the challenges and solutions for massive 6G IoT networks, 6G cloud / edge computing, and big data systems that may emerge in the foreseeable future.

This focused report will significantly improve the knowledge of engineering students and apprentices involved in telecommunications. Readers interested in modern wireless networking technologies will also benefit from the information provided.
