In DSEI 2021, Saab showed for the first time outside Sweden the new generation of its fast assault ship Combat Boat 90.

The company stressed that the new craft is based on the previous generation of the more than 250 boats currently in operation worldwide.
The CB90 NG multimedia interceptor can perform a variety of roles, including threat detection, rapid troop deployment and enemy attack, ballistic protection, and more.
Saab notes that one of the key features is the integration of the Trackfire RWS, which improves power multiplication through reliability, performance and adaptive flexibility.
While the DSEI demonstration is an opportunity for Saab to engage with potential customers, the company has already delivered 18 CB90 NGs to the Swedish public procurement agency.
