List of 10 latest defence deals that India has signed in the last six months
The Indian Ministry of Defense signed a contract worth more than 1,000 kroner with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for the supply of software-defined radio tactics (SDR-Tac) on 8 February.
The design and development of SDR-Tac is a joint venture between the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), the Weapons and Electronic Systems Engineering Enterprise (WESEE), BEL, the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR) and the Indian Navy.
The radio system itself is a four-channel multi-mode, multi-band, 19 mounted in the trunk and ship design.
