Netline Communications Technologies, an Israel-based manufacturer of high-end electronic warfare systems, has unveiled its C-Guard Modular ManPack, an advanced system designed to counter drones and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). the website said. It is the first solution of its kind that has multi-functional and multi-profile capabilities.
A few decades ago, The drones were high-quality and expensive tools that were used sparingly even in times of war. Over the years, drones have become much easier to make and their reduced costs mean they can be used in large numbers.
Air defense systems have also seen major technological advances to counter the growing drone threats. However, they cannot be deployed on all fronts, especially in developing conflict zones. A portable system is therefore useful, but Netline has gone further and made it human portable as well.
