Fleetonomy.ai demonstrates autonomous delivery of military resupply – sUAS News

Last mile autonomous supply – a challenge that everyone faces under different operating conditions. We c Fleetonomy.ai have experimented with this along with Thales Defense, GRIFF Aviation AS, Avartek, HIPPO Multipower and Domo Tactical Communications (DTC), using autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles and ground vehicles, such as UAVs and UGVs for tactical supply missions.

In the presented video mobile application Saber from Thales is used with radio Thales SquadNet to order a delivery mission. Fleetonomy.ai’s own Fleet Management Application (FMA) software then creates the mission parameters, controls the drones remotely and manages the delivery, while a remote operator can monitor the result.

Two drone platforms are used for the delivery mission: Avartek ARX30 will establish a network radio network connection with Domo Tactical Communications NETNode2x2W-5RM and SOL8SDR-H2 radio stations to provide communications for the operation, and Griff Aviation’s GRIFF 135 then delivers the payload to the goal.

The intention is to protect soldiers from injury while carrying out an autonomous delivery mission with speed, efficiency and safety.
