Haifa, Israel, July 08, 2020 – In addition to orders received in recent years, Elbit Systems will deliver more than 1,000 additional E-LynXTM
Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems for the Swedish Army, expanding the company’s involvement in Sweden’s Tactical Radio Upgrade Program. Elbit Systems is the supplier of the SDR network solution for the Swedish Army, for which series deliveries began in 2018. The new delivery, which will be made through Elbit Systems’ subsidiary in Germany, will include E-LynX portable and automotive configurations.
E-LynX radio systems facilitate advanced networking solutions in both outdoor and urban areas. The E-LynX family of radio systems is designed with an open architecture approach, features unique waveforms and allows the reception of a range of additional European and NATO waveforms.
The contribution base of E-LynX SDR systems is growing continuously. Elbit Systems is a supplier of current and future land SDR systems to the Israel Defense Forces and was selected to supply E-Lynx systems to additional advanced armed forces.
