Elbit Systems Selected for the Software Defined Radio Program of the Swiss Armed Forces

Haifa, Israel, October 29, 2019 – Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT, TASE: ESLT) (“Elbit Systems” or the “Company”) announced today that following extensive testing by the Federal Office for Defense Procurement (“Armasuisse”) and the Swiss Armed Forces, the Company has been selected by the Swiss Federal Ministry of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (“DDPS”) to provide the Swiss Armed Forces with an army-wide tactical Software Defined Radio (SDR) solution within the Telecommunications Armed Forces Program (TK A), Ersa mob Komm.

The award of the contract is subject to approval by the Swiss Parliament.

The solution to be delivered by Elbit Systems to the Swiss Armed Forces is based on the open architecture E-LynX SDR family.
