Elbit Systems awarded Swedish tactical radio deal

Israeli defense electronics Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; LEVEL: ESLT) will supply the Swedish army with over 1,000 E-LynX (SDR) software detection systems. This is a follow-up order that expands Elbit’s involvement in Sweden’s tactical radio upgrade program.

Elbit Systems began supplying SDR network solutions to the Swedish Army in 2018 and has had several deliveries since then. The latest delivery, which will be made through the subsidiary of Elbit Systems in Germany, will include manual and in-car configurations E-LynX.

The E-LynX family of radio systems is designed with an open architectural approach, has unique waveforms and allows the adoption of a number of additional European and NATO waveforms.

The contribution base of E-LynX SDR systems is constantly growing. Elbit Systems is a supplier of current and future ground SDR systems to the Israeli Defense Forces and has been selected to supply E-Lynx systems to additional modern forces.
