World’s first ‘Hybrid’ Defence and Aerospace show underway at Bengaluru

Previously, this five-day event (Aero India, 2021) was reduced to three days, excluding the two public days that were the norm in previous editions. Although the total number of exhibitors increased to 601 from 403 in the last edition, the number of foreign exhibitors has dropped from 165 to 78 this year. The number of foreign delegations has also decreased from 44 to 14. There are 248 virtual exhibitors at the event, which is largely outside the public.

The first day of the event witnessed the valuable presence of the three Heads of Service and CDS at the inaugural session along with other national and foreign dignitaries and officials. After taking office, the first day began with a flying display showing the Atmanirbhar Bharat formation, showing all the local assets of HAL, followed by Rafale (s), who appeared for the first time at the premiere air show.

The display has also witnessed the power of the Indian Air Force with its assets such as Tejas, Su-30MKis, Hawks in action. The famous aerobatic teams of Surya Kirans and Sharang also exhibited an integrated spectacular display for the first time. The Dakota harvest also appeared.

During the three days of Aero India 21. there will be a number of events and exhibitions.
