An anonymous reader cited a report from Teslarati: Tesla has won permit approval for its Diner and Drive-In Movie Supercharger in Los Angeles, according to documents seen by Teslarati from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Tesla was irritation the possibility of having a Supercharger movie theater and diner within a few years, which will accommodate 32 stalls, two screens for showing famous movie clips and a restaurant with rooftop seating. It was originally planned to be built on a series of parcels in Santa Monica. However, the location was moved east to Hollywood and will now be located at 7001 W. Santa Monica Blvd. As the project moves through the normal regulatory processes, Tesla is receiving some approvals and requests for adjustments to many of the applications submitted to begin construction at the Diner/Supercharger.
