Controp buys Israeli smart video specialist

Controp Precision Technologies has acquired a fellow Israeli specialist in smart video and surveillance technology.

ESC BAZ, based in Lod, Israel, has decades of experience in the field of short-term monitoring and surveillance systems. The deal, the details of which were not disclosed, gives the company improved international access.

“The acquisition of ESC BAZ is another step in Controp’s strategic plan to strengthen its footprint in HLS’s defense and internal security markets,” said Hagai Azani, Controp’s president and CEO at Hod Hasharon. “ESC BAZ’s solutions will allow Controp to make its state-of-the-art electro-optical technology available to law enforcement, border guards and other relevant authorities and to multiply the technological solutions currently offered to the company’s customers in the field of defense and HLS.”
