SDR drama to present Hodag radio play

Adolescents and adults in the school district of the Rhinelander Drama Department will present “The Hodag Increments”, a radio play written by local writer Mike Scoobal.

This unconventional performance will answer the age-old question: is Hodag real?

The story is told through 19 vignettes that move back and forth from 1898 to 1977 with many stops in between. The story will be told through characters who have been there, who have survived Hodag, who have seen Hodag, who have smelled Hodag … including Gene Shepard himself.

The show was recorded and produced by Al Higgins on NRG Media and will air on 19:00, Saturday, March 13, on 101.3 FM and 1240 AM.

Anyone who can’t listen on the radio can listen online. There will be a link to “listen live” on http://player.listenlive.co/60011. This connection will be live only at 19:00 on March 13.
