Passive and Active Spectrum Sharing Focus of New Wireless Innovation Forum Project
The PASS project will be co-chaired by Dr. Kevin Gifford, Professor of Computer Science at University of Colorado-Boulder with experience in wireless communications, and Dr. Andrew Clegg of Google, who is the chief technical officer of WInnForum and a former radio astronomer.
The initial online meeting for the project is August 3 in 1:00 p.m. ET. Participation in the committee is open to representatives of all member organizations of WInnForum. Trial memberships are available for organizations wishing to study participation before joining as full members. Non-member observers and experts on the subject may also be invited to participate in future PASS meetings at the discretion of the Committee’s Steering Group.
