Magazine worth reading SWR2 – SWR2
With new books by Kat Minchik, Zadi Smith, Nora Bosong – and winners in the Bachmann competition
On Sunday, June 20, the annual Bachmann reading competition ends: we summarize this year’s year in Klagenfurt and present the winners.
With the wonderful artist Kat Minchik we go to the Caucasus – and to her flower garden in Brandenburg.
The British Zadi Smith again appears as a brilliant political narrator in the volume of short stories “Grand Union”, and many clever political and literary texts were published by Nora Bosong: “Tomorrow too”.
We also mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary SDR poet and editor Helmut Heisenbüttel, and present Hans-Ulrich Traichel’s new novel: “More Beautiful Than Ever.”
