Keysight and Orolia Advance 5G Location-Based Services Based on Global Navigation Satellite System Technologies

Working with Orolia, a world leader in sustainable positioning, navigation and synchronization (PNT) solutions, allows Keysight to expand its portfolio of 5G device testing solutions with advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) simulation capabilities. As a result, existing users of Keysight’s 5G testing solutions can easily turn to GNSS-related 3GPP. compliance with the protocol and acceptance of the carrier test requirements by upgrading the software in Keysight’s E7515B UXM 5G wireless test platform and combining it with Orolia’s GSG-8 simulator.

Future applications, such as drones and autonomous vehicles, will depend on high-precision positioning services for reliable navigation and safe transport of people and goods.
