Iowa university to host new wireless lab for research into rural broadband, precision agriculture
The Platforms for Advanced Wireless Research (PAWR) program, funded by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) and a consortium of 35 mobile companies and associations, has announced Iowa State University and its partners as the fourth test site for large-scale research platforms in the United States. Other test sites include Powder-Renew in Salt Lake City, Utah, Cosmos in the West Harlem neighborhood of New York and AERPAW in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.
