Analog Devices (ADI) has announced an ASIC-based radio platform for 5G radios compatible with O-RAN. Designed to shorten time to market and meet the changing needs of 5G networks, ADI’s radio platform includes all the basic functionality needed in a 5G radio compatible with O-RAN device, including ASIC on the mainband, software-defined transceivers , signal processing and power, the company said.
