Accelerated, a provider of OpenRAN software solutions for 4G / 5G networks, based in Antwerp, Belgium, raised € 6.8 million in Series B funding.
The round was led by Cogito Capital Partners, with the participation of Qbic, and existing investors Capital-E and AAAF.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its global expansion.
Founded in 2013 by Frederic van Durme, CEO, Accelleran provides software, solutions and services for Open 4G and 5G RAN and vRAN. With its software architecture, customers can reach the maximum potential of software-defined networks, network virtualization and RAN intelligence for managing private, public and neutral host networks.
Accelleran is used by carriers, reliable, portable and efficient network solutions and radio access services in multiple markets such as private networks, fixed wireless network, public mobile phone, neutral host and IoT.
