The system was presented at the collective stand of the holding during the military-technical forum “Army-2023”.

The use of Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology ensures that the R-760 system has great upgrade potential. This allowed for improvements in both tactical and technical aspects, as well as ushering in further advances in radio communication technology. Such improvements increase the export potential of the product.

The equipment can be used in all types of ships, including battleships of the first line. The system, developed by the Omsk Research Institute of Instrumentation (ONIIP, part of Ruselectronics), facilitates communication of surface ships with coastal command centers, other surface ships, submarines, aircraft and other external correspondents.

The applied technical solutions allow modifying the components of the communication system depending on the class and purpose of the ship without significant modifications. During the operational life of the ship, the functionality of the system can be expanded by installing updated software without changing the hardware.
